BF Global Logistics with branches in Enschede, Raamsdonksveer and Venlo, will provide many of the logistics B2B activities for The Cookware Company on the European mainland from 1 May 2021. The takeover was completed in a very short time, the first contacts took place at the beginning of December 2020. All activities will take place from Waddinxveen, the location of The Cookware Company. The Cookware Company and BF Logistics will join forces to professionalize operations and further streamline logistics.
BF Global Logistics was founded in 2012 by a group of logistics experts who have been working together for over 20 years. The start of BF Global Logistics was successful and we have acquired a leading position in the Dutch forwarding industry. We want to strongly expand all our logistics activities, including air and sea freight, road transport, warehousing and distribution, this acquisition is an example of this.
The Cookware Company is a global cookware manufacturing company. In the past they have taken over a number of large Dutch companies in this sector, such as Kempen & Begeer and BK. The Cookware Company has found a partner in BF Global to make quality and efficiency improvements in its logistics B2B activities. BF’s WMS system was recently implemented and went live, which was also an important reason for The Cookware Company to work with BF Global Logistics. All B2B activities of The Cookware Company will be done from Waddinxveen, this concerns warehouse activities, distribution within the EU, direct deliveries to specific accounts such as AH, Makro, etc.
The fact that all 12 logistics employees of The Cookware Company could also join BF Global was decisive.
This acquisition in particular strengthens the position of BF Global Logistics and is the prelude to further growth.
